Beach Party at Anfield featuring Manchester United Vs Liverpool

Players, teams beware of the beach ball. It can strike you harder than you think.

The big match is waiting this weekend in the English premier league what is expected to be a classic showdown at Anfield where Liverpool will be hosting the league leaders Manchester United. In a much awaited match between the Red Devils and the Tomato Reds of the Mercyside there is plenty to talk about.

Doubts are Manchester United’s ace striker Wayne Rooney who has still not recovered from his calf injury and it looks certain that this will be the third straight miss after the previous two against CSKA Moscow and Bolton Wanderers a week ago. Darren Fletcher is still doubtful following his foot injury and unfortunately midfielder Park Ji Sung will be out. The good news is that Patrice Evra and Ryan Giggs have both been passed there fitness test after remaining in Manchester while the rest were out in Moscow and they will be ready for a crucial fixture at Anfield. This will give the rest of the United a huge boost of confidence.
News from the rival camp is that Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez will be in charge of 200th game at Anfield and he will be definately putting some extra bit of work to win this fixture. With injuries to Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres more is expected from Rafa to have the appropriate style of playing. As the match may get tough as it progresses , 2-1 or even a 2-2 draw is expected as this is a no child’s play and the intensity will be higher than what the two previous matches had for United.
The match will be played on Sunday and is scheduled to start at 1400 Hours GMT (1930 Hours IST).
